Dream Catcher Scholarships, worth a total of $5000, are available to graduating seniors from Paonia & Hotchkiss High School every year. Ask your counselor for an application.

General Information

Funding is need-based and available to & for the youth of the North Fork Valley of Delta County, Colorado. To qualify for funds, individuals must reside in the North Fork Valley.
  • Priority goes to applications that affect as many financially needy children as possible and projects that promise to improve the quality of life of individual kids.
  • Applications must be received 6-8 weeks before the funds are needed to go through the review process.  
  • Applications are reviewed in January, March, May, July and October.  Call for application deadline dates.  
  • Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received.
  • If approved, funds will be distributed in a timely manner.
  • CKF asks all recipients to give back to the community through volunteer work.

Exclusions

Cocker Kids’ Foundation does not:
  • reimburse funds
  • pay salaries
  • pay medical bills or legal fees
  • fund capital improvements (buildings, signs, landscaping, storage sheds, etc.)
  • give funds for college (Dream Catcher Scholarships are available)
  • fund personal goods for individuals (personal computers, cameras, etc.)
